My life's to-do list is getting longer by the minute, but so far I can cross off scuba diving! Next off - going into space. I can totally accomplish this now!... after 2011. After I get $2.2 million. After I find someone who will marry me in space.
According to this website, "a cool 240 million yen ($2.2 million) buys you a wedding ceremony aboard a 1-hour space flight that reaches an altitude of more than 100 kilometers (62.1 miles), as well as a photo and video album, original dress, wedding certificate and other ceremonial items. The otherworldly price tag also includes the cost of transportation to and from the launch site, accommodations, a live broadcast of the ceremony to friends and family at a reception hall on the ground, and 4 days of rehearsal. The space wedding services are scheduled to begin in 2011, but the group will start accepting applications early next month."
Any takers?
One day I'll actually write down everything I'd like to accomplish, so you all can hold me accountable. I WILL climb a mountain and pilot a plane, dammit.
I'm working 54 hours a week at Taipei Cafe, but I'm sharpening up on my Chinese and learning some Taiwanese to boot! Made some new friends, becoming better friends with old ones. Gonna save up all my money and spend it on fun trips this summer.
I just made really delicious pasta salad and guacamole. I miss everyone from Chipotle.
I'm using a new shampoo and conditioner that a co-worker recommended - Regis DesignLine Olive Oil shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair SO soft and SO sleek, really clean, and apparently will make my hair grow faster. I may never switch back.
Gonna go to John's graduation, that should be fun.
I'm half-way done with my scuba diving lessons! It's funny, my instructor was telling us how the weightlessness of scuba diving is the closest we will probably get to feeling like we're in outer space, and two of the biggest things on my life's to-do list is to scuba dive, and go into outer space. Seems like all I really want to do in life is to float around ^_^ Scuba diving has definitely been one of the most enjoyable experiences in my life so far, I can't wait to go to Bonaire in November and go into the ocean.
Sean introduced me to Arrested Development, and I have to say it's one of the funniest shows I've seen in a while. Too bad it was canceled. Ah! I just remembered I'm three weeks behind in Battlestar Galactica!!
Games I want to buy but shouldn't because gas is $4 a gallon: Wii Fit, Mario Kart, The World Ends With You, MGS4
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was great, the acting has gotten a little better I suppose. But there's still too many cheesy shots like when the kids laugh, the camera pans to EVERYONE to show that they are laughing. Bleh. Also, little sister Lucy is starting to get Meg Ryan nose-scrunch syndrome. Best part of the movie: little brother Edward is really attractive. Makes me feel pervy to say so, considering he's 17, but oh well. Can't wait for the next installment - Dawn Treader was my favorite book in the series, and if Skandar (his name is Skandar!) keeps maturing well, I won't even care if the acting is terrible. Which reminds me that I need to buy the books and get started on my summer reading.
One reason why Dawn Treader is my favorite of the series is because way back in the day, when I was a Napstering+All Music researching fiend, I happened to find Faith Massive, a Christian drum n' bass artist. My favorite songs by him were Jon's Dream, and Dawn Treader (it's misspelled on that website). Years later when I actually read the Narnia books, I realized that's what it was from, so the whole time I was reading the book, the song was playing in the back of my head. ^_^ Plus it's just a cool adventure book all around. Also, Skandar.
Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay was terrible. The escape happened within the first 15 minutes, and there weren't as many Asian jokes. Actually, all the jokes were just horrible - all crass, no wit.
I'm craving gummi bears. I'm also listening to Incubus again. Actually, just the song Dig.
I want summer picnics and swimming parties. Where are they??
My sophomore portfolio is TURNED IN! The tests are over with! I can finally get back to living my life!!! Just in time too:

Who wants to play with me!!!!
